This is one of the best books I've read on prayer. Most books make me feel guilty that I don't pray enough. This book motivates me to pray. The Tuesday morning men's group have been challenged by this book.
Who says churches need to be large buildings with lots of people and professional ministers? This book challenges our presuppositions of what it means to be a church, "Christians are called to a dual fidelity: fidelity to the core content of the gospel and fidelity to the primary context of a believing community (p. 16)."
This book will change the way you think about helping the poor. For a Church or community organization to put this strategy into effect would be revolutionary to the long term health of a community.
